The athleticism and body control honed from a life of dancing is evident as Travis Staton-Marrero scales the banister of a staircase on the set of "The Three Musketeers" at Syracuse Stage. It's reminiscent of the parkour videos that still make occasional rounds on the internet. But unlike those in the videos, Staton-Marerro carries a sword in his right hand.
Staton-Marrero, 26, is making his Syracuse Stage debut as D'Artagnan in Alexandre Dumas' classic adventure adapted for stage by Catherine Bush. He has masterfully transformed his history of dance and choreography into a career of stunts, fight choreography and acting.
